![]() It has nothing on Genshin Impact’s world. There isn’t exactly an open-world in the game, despite what Netmarble has promised. What makes Future Revolution’s battles different is the sense of verticality and MMORPG-style boss and mob fights. When it comes to the gameplay of Marvel Future Revolution, it is a fusion between Netmarble’s previous Marvel game, Future Fight, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. ![]() Strange being one-to-one recreations from their source materials. It really is on-par with Square Enix’s Avengers console and PC game, though Marvel Future Revolution leans heavily on its comic book roots, with characters like Storm, Captain Marvel, and Dr. In terms of storytelling, Marvel Future Revolution nails in its presentation, with its top-notch graphics and voice acting. It doesn’t take long before the heroes make it to the city and start stopping the bigheaded supervillain.Īll is in vain as rifts across the multiverse begin to open, and it is up to this ragtag team of heroes to stop this from happening. The story begins with MODOK and his multiversal Variants attacking a city, unleashing antimatter bombs across skyscrapers. It is not perfect, but it is too useful to not be added to other games that requires player attentions.Marvel Future Revolution players can assume the roles of eight playable heroes: Captain America, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Star-Lord, and Storm, and traverse the Marvel universe.Īfter experiencing the game for ourselves, IGN Southeast Asia has found that, for the most part, the game makes good on most of its promises. I wanted to see more game implement auto-battling, or some features where the game allows the player to do repetitive tasks through automation. I was able to enjoy the side quests without focusing too much on battling. It does try to avoid doing things the player should be the one to take control of, and there are cases where there is no option for the player to choose which direction the auto-battle should aim for.īut still, the pros outweigh the cons, and in this case, it has helped me enjoy Xenoblade Chronicles 3 without much effort. It falls short on places where it wpuld be an inconvenience to the players, but this is a choice the player makes. I hoped that more games can implement auto-battles, especially in parts where the developers knew it will take a while to reach the point the player is aiming for. ![]() There are some places where the features falls short of what I wanted it to do, and I think it can be improved upon, making it more fully fleshed out. You can choose to surf the internet, argue with other ResetEra users in good faith and hone your skills in the Art of Words, and still come back to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and continue with your progress. By doing this, you as a player now have control over what you wanted to do while you wait for the battle to end. This is the cue where you just enable "auto-battle" and let the AI engage the battles for you. In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, there can be times when the battle feels monotonous. How can I not skip out on this?"Īuto-battling is a feature in the game where you and your AI-controlled allies go into battle, and automatically initiates combat options, such as executing an Art, battle enemies, do Chain Attacks and auto-select which roles to execute, and so on, until the battle ends. You would be pressed to ask me, "how the hell are you at 250 hours and still haven't beaten the game yet?"īut if you did ask me, I would answer, "Because auto-battling is the greatest feature in the game. I have been playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for over 250 hours, and I am still in Chapter 6.
